John Muir National Historic Site Poster
This John Muir National Historic Site Poster is a unique tribute to the WPA posters that were created in the 1930’s and 1940’s. The WPA posters were originally constructed as a government initiative to generate interest in the national parks and improve park attendance.
We have designed WPA Style National Park Posters featuring all 59 American National Parks & other sites to celebrate the diverse natural beauty and to encourage you to reflect on the rich history and immense beauty that each national park has to offer. John Muir played many roles in his life, all of which helped him succeed in his role as an advocate for Nature. As America’s most famous naturalist and conservationist, Muir fought to protect the wild places he loved, places we can still visit today. Muir’s writings convinced the U.S. government to protect Yosemite, Sequoia, Grand Canyon and Mount Rainier as national parks.
Our WPA Style National Park Posters are printed with Archival Inks on the highest quality 232 GSM Acid-Free Archival Matte Paper giving this print a truly smooth and non-reflective surface perfect in any lighting conditions and perfect to commemorate your unforgettable experience in each unique National Park.
